15-year old girl hit by stray bullet during deadly shooting in Gastonia

A 38-year old man, Mark Eric Collins, got into an argument with a woman, 43-year old Teresa Louise Sanders, outside an apartment complex in Gastonia, North Carolina.  It turned ugly, and the man pulled out a gun and started shooting, killing the woman.

He also hit and injured a 15-year old girl in the crowd.

From the article:
The shooting happened about 7:30 p.m. in the courtyard of an apartment on North May Street near North Webb Street. Police say it started with an argument among several people.
Investigators say a man fired into the crowd. Teresa Louise Sanders, 43, who lived on May Street, was shot and died at the scene. The girl, who witnesses said is a student at Ashbrook High School, was wounded in the arm. She is expected to survive.
Tarsha Markin, Sanders’ sister, said a man was responsible for the shooting.
“He said, ‘Someone has got to die,’ and he just started shooting,” Markin told WCNC-TV, the Observer’s news partner. “Teresa was not his target.”
