3-year old Kentucky boy shot in leg by apparent stray bullet

Two people got into an argument and gunfight, in Louisville, Kentucky, and a 3-year old boy was wounded in the leg by one of the bullets.

From the article:
A 3-year-old boy was shot in the leg Friday evening in western Louisville, according to police.
Dwight Mitchell, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said the boy was taken to Kosair Children’s Hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting occurred about 8 p.m. near the intersection of 41st Street and Muhammad Ali Boulevard, he said. He said that Second Division officers were responding to a report of shots being fired in the area when they heard more gunshots, and a woman told them a child had been shot.

Mitchell said police officers wee canvassing the area Friday night, and no suspects had been identified.

He said the shooting may have been related to an altercation between two other people.
Bullets don't know when to stop.
