15-year old Chicago boy critically injured in struggle over gun

A 15-year old boy in Chicago was handling his older brother's loaded, unsecured gun.  The older brother, 19-year old Patrick Robinson, a convicted felon, attempted to take the gun back.  A struggle ensued, resulting in the shooting of the boy in the back and hand.

From an article:
The boy was playing with the gun in the family's home in the 6500 block of South Lowe Avenue around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, police said.
Patrick Robinson, 19, became upset and tried to take it away, police said. The two struggled and the gun went off, hitting the boy in the back and the hand, police said.
The boy was taken in serious condition to University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital, but was upgraded to good condition on Friday, officials said.
Robinson has two felony convictions for firearm violations, police said.
Every gun in the hands of a child must first pass through the hands of an adult.
